What's new
HostDetect™ PCR DNA Quant Kits
These real-time PCR assays (RUO) enable quantitative detection of residual HEK293, CHO, or E. coli host genomic DNA in extracted nucleic acid samples from biopharmaceutical products.
LabChip™ Plasmid DNA (pDNA) Assay
The LabChip™ Plasmid DNA assay is designed to streamline your plasmid (pDNA) workflows. It separates the three primary isoforms of pDNA in under 2 minutes/sample while providing purity assessment based on the corrected area percentages for each conformation.
pHSense reagents
pHSense™ probes are plate reader-compatible reagents specifically developed for internalization studies using a time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) readout. Fully compatible with our MLD platforms, pHSense enables sensitive, quantitative detection of internalization events in a high-throughput, plate-based format.
HEKcellence™ expression platform
We're looking for some most HEKcellent beta testers for this adaptable HEK293 expression system. It can produce higher quality vectors by increasing the proportion with full payloads, providing a route to lower dose requirements and ultimately reduced treatment costs and improved drug safety profiles.
Vectonize™ transgene suppression platform
Overcome production issues with our new Vectonize transgene suppression technology that prevents expression of your target sequence during production, improving or even enabling production of interfering protein payloads. Join our beta program for first access.

Gene editing in biotherapeutic cell lines: transformative possibilities, technical considerations
Speaker: Austin Hallgren
Session: Cell line engineering and development
Date: Tuesday August 19, 2025
Time: 12:45 PM – 1:00 PM
Abstract: This seminar addresses how strategic cell line engineering can overcome fundamental challenges in biotherapeutic production, where manufacturing cell lines aren't inherently optimized for complex protein expression. We'll examine gene editing applications in bioprocess host cell lines that address protein quality and cell growth characteristics. The presentation will navigate the often-understated technical complexities of cell line engineering, including tool selection, IP considerations, and regulatory requirements. Join us to discover how Revvity's Cell Line Engineering capabilities can transform your biotherapeutic development from concept to commercial production.
