Overview

Cell Painting is a powerful phenotypic high-content screening approach which combines cell and computational biology to unravel cells’ responses when subjected to perturbagens.

Cell are "painted" by labelling different cellular compartments with different fluorescent bioprobes to quantitatively profile multiple phenotypic parameters in order to better understand the effects of chemical compounds, drugs, genes, or other test articles.​

PhenoVue Cell Painting JUMP Kits comprise validated, pre-optimized fluorescent bioprobes, aligned to the JUMP consortium protocol v3, to streamline your workflow, saving time and costs.

PhenoVue Cell Painting JUMP Kits provide:

  • Excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility The cell painting kit reagents are tested extensively (>80 parameters) using state-of-the-art techniques to guarantee high quality e.g. LCMS, HPLC, absorbance spectra, concentration, high-content imaging, degree of labelling (DoL), with strict acceptance criteria to deliver reliable and accurate results.
  • Ease-of-use The reagents in the cell painting kits are supplied in optimized formulations to facilitate assay set-up, together with a detailed step-by-step protocol.
  • Convenient pack sizes The cell painting kits are available in three different sizes, 1 x 384-well plate, 10 x 384-well plates and 100 x 384-well plates to meet your throughput needs and avoid waste.
  • Tried and Trusted used by the Joint Undertaking in Morphological Profiling-Cell Painting (JUMP-CP) consortium in creating the world’s largest, public cell painting dataset.
