Overview
These are pre-filled polypropylene screw cap 7 mL tubes with high-density polyethylene caps that contain 0.5 mm glass beads (50 tubes).
They are a reliable solution for various applications, including homogenization and lysis of tough micro-organisms, gram+ bacteria, yeast, fungi, algae, spores, and plankton. They are a well-suited consumable to feed into bead mill homogenization before analyte extraction and other applications. Resulting analytes, such as DNA, RNA, and proteins can then be used for a number of downstream assays for subsequent biochemical analysis.
