These bead-lysis kits include 7 mL tubes that are
conveniently pre-filled with 2.8 mm ceramic beads and often preferred for hard tissue homogenization, including from whole organs and plant materials up to 5 mL in sample volume. These larger, denser beads also offer high-impact and crushing capabilities within our wide range of ceramic bead sizes. The uniformity in their shape is also a consideration for some labs looking to streamline particle size reduction or sample lysis for the downstream extraction
of fragile biomolecules.
