Bead-beating cell lysis tubes are pre-filled with an optimized amount of lysing matrix to provide efficient and robust sample homogenates. These hard tissue cell lysis tubes are performance-verified internally on the Omni Bead Ruptor Elite bead mill homogenizer and customer-verified compatible with other bead mill homogenizers for disrupting tough lab samples. For hard tissue lysis, with pre-filled ceramic beads, in 2mL tubes, these lysing matrix tubes cater to a large range of laboratory applications.

Product features:

2 mL reinforced polypropylene screw cap tubes pre-filled with 2.8 mm ceramic beads. Caps contain silicone o-ring to help withstand powerful bead-beating processes.

Overview

Hard tissue homogenizing mix in cell lysis tubes (2.8 mm ceramic beads, 2 mL reinforced tubes).

These hard tissue lysis – pre-filled ceramic – 2 mL tubes are recommended for use in lab applications from a variety of sample types, including hard tissues, heart, muscle, skin, tendon, tail, whole organs and hard plant material.

Option available as microbial DNA-free bead-beating cell lysis tubes (19-628D), which are molecular biology grade, nuclease-free tubes, pre-filled with an optimized amount of sterilized lysing matrix to provide robust sample homogenates. Products are rigorously-tested using microbial DNA PCR assays, making them suitable for applications that are impacted by the presence of bacterial or fungal DNA contamination.
