How does the LabChip system work?

The LabChip GX Touch and GXII Touch systems use microfluidic technology to automate separation, sizing, and quantitation on a single chip. These micro-CE platforms support high-resolution, digital data from 96- or 384-well plates in seconds.

  • Multi-Analyte Flexibility: separate proteins, glycans, AAVs, DNA, or RNA fragments with sharp band resolution across genomics and proteomics workflows.
  • Picogram-level sensitivity: laser-induced fluorescence detects low concentrations down to 10 pg/µL for DNA/proteins and 1 pg/µL for RNA fragments.
  • Automated data processing: automatically size and quantify fragments against internal markers and calibration ladders.
  • Instant digital insights: provide immediate data visualization through automated electropherograms, virtual gels, and exportable tabular reports.
  • High-Throughput Speed: process samples in as little as 30 to 65 seconds directly from plates, reducing hands-on sample preparation time.
