Test description
Pre-eclampsia screening determines risk of developing pre-eclampsia in pregnant women. The earlier PreEclampsia is detected the faster the treatment can be started to delay or reduce the risk of the disease progressing.
Indications for testing
The maternal serum screening test is a blood test offered to pregnant women. It helps to inform them of the chance of developing PreEclampsia during pregnancy .
Condition description
This Preterm PreEclampsia Screening is performed between the 11th and 13th week of pregnancy.
