Overview

The XAF-8 charcoal filters, also known as scavenging filters, attach to the output of the XGI-8 anesthesia system to capture isoflurane effectively. This activated charcoal adsorption filled filter is capable of trapping up to 50 g of isoflurane anesthesia gas during extended research procedures. These specialized filters absorb trace amounts of volatile isoflurane gas, preventing its release into the laboratory environment and protecting researchers from potential occupational exposure hazards while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
