Overview
250 µCi quantities of GTPγS, [35S]- 1250Ci/mmol, 12.5mCi/ml. Guanosine triphosphate, labeled on the gamma phosphate group with 35S (GTPɣS), is used in GTP binding assays with cell membrane preparations as a functional assay for certain classes of GPCRs. It is hydrolyzed slowly, and is considered a non-hydrolyzable analog for GTP binding assays.
