Dinitrophenol (DNP) labeled deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP) is useful for labeling with a variety of methods including nick translation, random priming, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and 3'-end labeling. DNP-labeled products may be detected with anti-DNP conjugates.
The number “11” in the compound name refers to the length of the linker arm between dUTP and the label.
