Overview
This cell lysate provides a way to validate the B-arr2 recruitment assay. As a positive control, it will enable researchers to avoid any detection issues when running the assay. The lysate was made from transfected HEK293 cells.
How it works
Principle of the HTRF Beta-Arrestin2 Recruitment assay
The positive control is used as an internal assay control to check the quality of the results obtained with the pre-mixed d2 and Eu cryptate antibodies used for the Beta-arrestin2 recruitment assay.
Assay validation
Signal to background of beta-arrestin2 recruitment control lysate
5mL of Control Lysate were dispensed into all wells of a 96-well plate, followed by 100mL of pre-mixed d2 and Cryptate-labelled antibodies from the HTRF Beta-Arrestin 2 Recruitment Kit (62BDBAR2PEB/ (62BDBAR2PEC), as described in the corresponding protocol.
The plate was sealed and incubated overnight at room temperature, then read with an HTRF-compatible reader with a flash lamp.
