AlphaPlex 545 (Terbium) TruHits Kit, 500 Assay Points

The AlphaPlex-545 TruHits kit allow you to perform ratiometric Alpha signal measurement with almost any type of AlphaLISA assay. This kit includes AlphaPlex 545 biotinylated Acceptor beads and Streptavidin Alpha Donor beads capable of interacting together to generate a signal measurable at 545nm. In a duplex assay setup, Donor bead excitation triggers a simultaneous cascade of energy transfer within both AlphaLISA (emission = 615 nm) and AlphaPlex 545 (emission = 545nm) Acceptor beads, leading to distinct signal emissions discriminable using either narrow bandpass filers or a dedicated double dichroic mirror. Further to facilitating the detection of non-specific interactions, the AlphaPlex TruHits kit also allows you to identify inner filters, light scatterers (insoluble compounds), singlet oxygen quenchers and biotin mimetics interfering with the Alpha signal, aiding the identification of false positives.
