Overview
Several pre-formulated buffers are available for Alpha assays. These have been developed to meet the varying needs of different Alpha assays, and one of them may be a good choice for assays that you may be developing. AlphaLISA Assay Buffer 1 (10X) has been especially developed for use with certain catalog AlphaLISA immunoassays. The buffer is Tris-based and contains detergent and protein additives to minimize assay background. The 10X buffer should be stored at 4°C. For use with Alpha assays, prepare the buffer fresh at 1X on the same day it will be used. Storage of the 1X formulation is not recommended.
