Kinases constitute about 2% of all human genes and are essential proteins involved in signal transduction. They regulate numerous biological events, such as cell growth and proliferation. Kinase dysfunctions are associated with numerous diseases and current treatments have many side effects. Targeted degradation could be an option to overcome these, and PROteolysis Targeting Chimera (PROTAC®) is one of the latest trending tools.
