Literature - Publication Review

Homogenous fluorescent assay applications for the characterization of anti-obesity molecules.

In this literature review, we examine how TR-FRET and Alpha technologies are being used to profile promising molecules targeting key GPCRs such as GLP-1R, GIPR, MC4R, and more. Drawing from recent studies on Tirzepatide, GL0034, and nanobody agonists, the review showcases:

  • Functional assay formats for cAMP and IP1 accumulation
  • Real-time receptor internalization and binding assays
  • Downstream insulin secretion measurements in pancreatic islets
  • Biased agonism and secondary G protein coupling insights
