Automating rAAV library production for next-generation capsid discovery

As AAV capsid discovery workflows become increasingly complex, scalability and reproducibility are becoming critical challenges.

Preparing hundreds of plasmid mixes manually introduces variability, increases hands-on time, and creates risks of pipetting inconsistencies and sample mix-ups, all of which can affect downstream screening quality and interpretation.

In this ASGCT 2026 poster, Revvity presents an automated workflow for small-volume rAAV library production designed to support scalable next-generation capsid discovery.

The workflow combines FlexDrop™ non-contact dispensing with the AssayMate™ workstation to streamline plasmid assembly, transfection, and clarification while maintaining vector titers comparable to manual workflows.
